Pack Size | 15 l: 11.25 kg Aggregates (A) + 4.5 kg Lime putty (B) |
---|
Pigmentation | 16 colours: The Colours of The Earth. |
---|
Yield/Coverage | The consumption rate is 4.5 kg/m2 for a coating thickness of 2-3 mm on a level substrate. However, this depends on the type and condition of the substrate, the tools used, and the application method. The exact consumption should be determined by sampling on site. |

Storage | Store the product in its original container, keeping it tightly sealed. Place it in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to avoid degradation. Ensure protection from freezing and from temperatures below 5°C (41°F) or above 35°C (95°F) if exposed for prolonged periods. The storage stability of the unopened product is 12 months from the date of manufacture. The product may thicken over time, but this will not affect its efficacy. Always shake well before use. |

Substrate preparation | The product is typically applied on plaster or render and can also be used on various surfaces with proper substrate preparation. The substrate should be dry, solid, well adhered, even, and free from any impurities that might interfere with optimal bonding. - Any organic growth or impurities must be removed by thorough cleaning using specific products.
- For application on plasterboard panels, first apply a coat of Naturglue, leaving it scratched or brushed to ensure good adherence and workability of the finishing mortar. If the substrate is very uncohesive, brush and consolidate it with a Minerseal solution diluted 3:1 with water.
- On non-porous substrates, apply a coat of Contak, and on substrates that are slightly porous or highly absorbent, apply Naturglue and leave it scratched or brushed.
- For facade applications or on different types of substrates, it is advisable to reinforce the initial Naturglue layer with mesh to enhance durability.

Product Preparation | For pigmentation, first add the respective dosage to the aggregates (MATERIAL A) and mix mechanically until homogenization is visually achieved. Pour off the surface water from the lime putty (MATERIAL B) but do not discard it. Transfer the lime putty into a bucket. Gradually add the aggregates (MATERIAL A) and mix mechanically until homogenized. Depending on the desired consistency, reintroduce the previously withdrawn water, ensuring to add no more than 500 ml. Allow the mixture to stand for 15-20 minutes before application. |
---|
Method application | Apply a first coat with a thinned topcoat and then apply the second coat evenly to the desired thickness (working thickness: 1-5 mm per day). At the beginning of drying, finish with a smooth, ironed or troweled finish.
On exteriors and in case of substrates of different nature, reinforcing mesh should be used. |
---|
Drying | At 25 °C (77 °F) and 60% relative humidity: 24 hours between thick coats and 4 days for final protection. Total curing occurs after 30 days, presenting good hardness and resistance. It is advisable not to clean and/or scrub during this period. |
---|
Ambient conditions | The working temperature (ambient and substrate) must be between +5 °C and +32 °C. Do not apply in direct sunlight, strong winds, rain, freezing or on supports heated by the sun. |
---|
Tools | Clean tools after use with warm water. |
