What does the dual program mean on the Optimate 4?	OptiMate 4 Dual Program includes two charging programs; the standard program is supposed to be used when connecting directly to the battery, the CANbus (BMW) program allows charging and maintaining via the DIN socket on BMW Motorcycles (models 2004 and later)
Does Optimate 4 have a battery recovery program?	Yes, the standard program has the most advanced recovery program which saves 'dead flat' sulphated batteries from as low as 0,5V.
Which program do I need to select to charge over the 12v socket on my BMW?	You'll need to select the CANbus program to charge via 12V socket on your BMW motorcycle.

What's the difference with the Optimate 4 Canbus edition?	CANbus edition is delivered with OptiMate adapter O-09 which fits 12V sockets. Dual Program is CANbus compatible but will standard be delivered without this adapter.
I want to use my Optimate Dual over the 12v socket. Which additional connector do I need?	You will need one of the OptiMate BIKE plug cables (O-02, O-09, O19 or O-29)
