FAQs

How do I select the correct voltage program?Disconnect the charger from the battery
Place and hold finger on Select-TOUCH sensor. The selected voltage LED brightens to confirm touch.
After 3 seconds the voltage selection changes, then SAVE (#3), CHARGE (#4) and TEST (#6,7, 8) LEDs flash twice to confirm selection is in memory.
The selection remains even if AC power is lost.
My charger is connected to my battery. When pushing the button to change the voltage program, nothing happens. WHy?Disconnect the charger from the battery first, before making the selection with the touch button.
Can I use the Optimate 6 on deep cycle batteries?OptiMate 6 is the best charger for starter and deep cycle batteries.

How fast does optimate 6 recharge batteries?The time required for the OptiMate 6 to complete
the charge of a 50Ah battery should take no more than about 10 hours. Deep-discharged batteries may take significantly longer.
